On computers with a licensed Windows OS, activation usually happens automatically. For reasons beyond our control it may sometimes not activate automatically. If you get an activation error, you can activate the system manually. We will provide a new licence key to replace the old one. How to find your key:

1. Open Windows Terminal or Command Prompt as Administrator (right‑click the Start button). You can also use Windows PowerShell as Administrator.
2. In Command Prompt run: wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey – this displays the key stored in the motherboard’s UEFI.
3. In PowerShell you can run: (Get‑WmiObject -query "select * from SoftwareLicensingService").OA3xOriginalProductKey. Alternatively, download the ShowKeyPlus app from the store and run it; the OEM Key field shows your product key. Please also provide the serial number of your device. It is on the bottom cover of the laptop, on the back of an all‑in‑one monitor or on the mini PC chassis. Then email us the serial number and Windows product key at support@osio.ru or osio@osio.ru.

Note: your laptop remains fully functional and can be used during this time. Please allow up to 5 business days for a new key to be issued, depending on when you contact us. During Windows 11 installation you may encounter a problem where the system SSD is not listed in the installation window. To fix this, prepare a USB flash drive on another computer with the VMD controller driver (Intel RST VMD Controller Driver) and load the driver during the Windows 11 setup. Before installing Windows and drivers, make sure the laptop is connected to the power adapter and the adapter is plugged into the mains.

1. Download the driver package for your model from https://osio.ru/draivery. Extract the archive to a flash drive and insert it into the laptop. Note: drivers are organised by graphics card model.
2. Start the Windows installation; on the "Where do you want to install Windows?" screen, click the Load Driver button.
3. In the Load Driver window, click Browse and select the folder with the VMD driver on your flash drive.
4. Select the folder and click OK.
5. Select the driver and click OK.
6. After the driver has been installed, continue the Windows setup and select the newly visible disk.

Our laptops support only DDR4 SO‑DIMM memory running at 3200 MHz with timings 22‑22‑22‑52. The main storage is M.2 2280 SATA III PCIe 3.0. You can visit any authorised OSiO service centre to upgrade the memory under warranty.

OSiO computers are designed and tested for Windows 11. Operation under Windows 10, Windows 10 Pro or LTSC versions is not fully guaranteed. All drivers for laptops are only available on the official OSiO website at https://osio.ru/draivery. We are not responsible for installing any other drivers. To install the OS you can also use authorised service centres. Driver installation instructions: Depending on your version or build, some drivers may conflict or fail to install. Important! Make sure Windows has downloaded and installed all updates.

To manually install drivers:

1. Download the drivers from www.osio.ru/draivery.
2. Copy the drivers to a separate folder on the laptop.
3. Open Device Manager: click the Start button and type “Device Manager”, or press Win+R, type “cmd” then run "devmgmt.msc".
4. In the list of devices, any device that failed to install is marked with a yellow triangle and an exclamation mark.
5. You can also reinstall/update any driver by opening the context menu of the component.
6. Expand the device list and select the device. Right‑click and choose Update Driver.
7. Choose "Browse my computer for drivers". Click Browse, select the folder with your drivers and click OK.
8. Repeat steps 4–6 for all problematic components.
9. Reboot the laptop. Important! Select only the root folder; Windows will find the correct driver. Windows may suggest installing a different driver — ignore this suggestion.

We recommend using the charger supplied with the laptop. Using other chargers may damage the equipment.

For user convenience, the numeric keypad (Num Lock) is set by default to cursor control mode. To switch to numeric mode press the Fn key and the F12 key together. To return to cursor control mode use the same combination.

You can use either of the two Type‑C connectors to charge the laptop. However, one connector is intended only for charging and the other is for both charging and data transfer. See the user manual for more information about the connectors.

Normal operation does not require access to BIOS settings. If you have questions about your laptop, call our hotline at 8‑800‑201‑1178. Advanced system settings should only be performed by a qualified specialist. Call OSiO at 8‑800‑201‑1178 and we will direct you to the nearest service centre. Important! Changing the default settings may affect the device’s operation, up to data loss. Turn on the laptop or reboot it; as soon as the screen goes dark, press F2 several times.

You can use the HDMI and USB‑C connectors to connect an external monitor. If the monitor supports power delivery and the cable meets the USB 3.1 Type‑C Gen 1 standard, the laptop can charge from the monitor.
